TripAdvisor has announced that it has acquired Vacation Home Rentals – a US-based vacation rental website listing over 14,000 properties globally. The terms of the deal has not be disclosed.
TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals President Dermot Halpin said “We’re thrilled to welcome Vacation Home Rentals to the TripAdvisor family…The team delivers a great experience for both homeowners and travelers and the inventory is a valuable addition to our fast-growing business.”
The move is the second in the last year for the TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals group following last year’s acquisition of leading Spanish holiday rental website Niumba. The company now features more than 550,000 rental properties across the world through booking portals such as Flipkey and HolidayLettings.
